Mona is a 7 year-old Shep mix girl who was discarded in WV and left to die. She represents so many middle-aged dogs who face a terrible fate at the shelters.
Mona is so sweet. She is about 45 lbs, crate trained and loves people. She just wants a home where she can get kisses, a soft bed and a nice walk...is that too much to ask?

HT has two shelters asking us to take in up to 15 puppies. But with our recent Parvo outbreak, we have lost 4 foster homes for the next several months.

Bradley was rescued from a high kill rural shelter after having survived a life-threatening virus - parvo. Now, he is facing another medical crisis and needs surgery to repair a genetic defect to his elbow. He needs sponsorship in order to get his much needed surgery which will relieve the pain he is feeling now.
Meet Miss Molly! Molly is a gorgeous 6 month old puppy waiting to be your valentine! Molly is in foster care in Northern VA and learning all kinds of valuable lessons. She is still a puppy and so has puppy energy - her foster mom takes her to the dog park a couple times a week. She is a wonderful girl who would love a home of her own!
Blitzen is a 1.5 year-old, 10-lb. neutered Yorkie mix boy. He was left at a rural WV shelter when his people moved. They said he is housebroken, good with dogs, cats and kids. Blitzen needs a foster or adoptive home. Can it be you? Help him start 2011 on a good note.
