Since they were rescued 6 months ago, they have been in a foster home and were doing well but unfortunately they are no longer getting along with the resident cat and she is not able to roam freely in her own home. While Homeward Trails does have some cages at Kitty City for emergencies these two cats are much too big to be confined - they need a loving home to go to. Buddy and Bubba get along with dogs so a foster or adoptive home with dogs would work for them as well. These two are very sweet and loving and adore attention as much as they enjoy playing with each other and their fosters (their favorite toy is a feather wand that they love to bat and chase). Bubba and Buddy are both over 20 lbs each so need a home were they can get help losing a bit of weight while eating good healthy wet food.
Please help these guys as they are out of time at their foster home and she has put out an SOS. We are in urgent need of either a foster or an adoptive home for these two lovable giants.

Poor Buddy and Bubba were living a comfortable life with their owner for 5 years until things suddenly changed for the worse. Their owner had a death in the family and lost his job, abandoning his home, all his possessions, and his beloved cats. Fortunately for these two cats a Homeward Trails volunteer heard about them and came to their rescue. When they were found, the boys were living in utter squalor with old used litter and without any food or water. Aside from being very hungry and thirsty, they were very frightened and confused.
