The inspiration for her work comes primarily from the natural world: plein-air or abstractions from concepts, music, or photographic images. She has been painting for the past 11 years and has studied with Joe Mayer and Sung Hong on the Eastern Shore, with Natasha Karpinsky at Yellow Barn Studio, Glen Echo, and at other workshops out of town.
