In So Much Pain!

Poor Morin thought things were finally looking up. She was found abandoned in Puerto Rico and made her way to Homeward Trails. But something was wrong – Morin started walking with a limp. The vet determined she needs a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) right away. An FHO is a surgical procedure that aims to restore pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip, by removing the head and neck of the femur. Unfortunately, this is a major surgery and comes with a major price tag. The vet is confident Morin will feel so much better and make a full recovery, but before we can schedule it, we need to get this sponsorship underway.

This can be Morin’s last hurdle until she has a happy, healthy life.
