Handsome Niko is lucky to be alive. This sweet boy was found as a stray in rural VA. With temperatures over 100, and no consistent food and water available, it is amazing that Niko is not only here today, but also happy once he was saved! At only a year old, this sweet lab mix has no idea why his family hasn’t come looking for him. He is cute, kind and fun… what more could someone want? What Niko definitely doesn’t want though is to live a life in a cage at a shelter. He is trying to keep his spirits up, but solitary confinement at a shelter is very stressful.
