Pregnant Mom Saved From Euthanasia
Pregnant momma Annie ended up at an overcrowded rural GA shelter after one of her owners died and the other was placed in assisted living. She was surrendered with 2 other dogs who have been lucky enough to find their forever homes but poor pregnant Annie is STILL waiting for rescue. Homeward Trails received an URGENT plea from her shelter that she was scheduled to be put to sleep with 6 hours if she could not find rescue placement. As always, our fosters and volunteers stepped up for this mom-to-be in need and we were able to commit to Annie before the deadline passed. Now, we just need YOUR help to cover the costs of Annie’s vetting and care. This poor girl has been through so much and she deserves a safe place to give birth to her litter which is coming any day.
