These Puppy Dog Eyes are Breaking Our Heart
Sweet Finlee is feeling really down. This adorable 2 year old lab mix was found as a stray in West Virginia. She had to endure life without food, water or a safe place to sleep for who knows how long. Stray dogs are often infested with worms and other parasites and Finlee is likely no exception. Now that she is at a rural shelter, she does get the minimum care to stay alive, but no pup can thrive in a shelter environment. Homeward Trails would love to assure Finlee that she can be on the next bus up to the DC area, but in order for that commitment to be made, Finlee’s rescue must be fully sponsored.
