Nats, Caps, and Dogs, Oh my! On Sunday, Homeward Trails partnered with Washington Capitals and Hershey Bear defenseman Tyson Strachan and his charity, Strachan Strays, at the Nats Park to raise awareness and funds for homeless animals. U.S Olympic athlete John Carlson and Strachan’s Capitals and Bears teammate Steve Oleksy accompanied Strachan to show their support.

Dawn, the abused pit bull from Danville, VA is about to start her new life in Northern Virginia thanks to a loving Homeward Trails foster home.

Homeward Trails opened the Homeward Trails Adoption Center in November 2013.  Located in Fairfax Station, VA, the Center can house up to 50 dogs and several litters of puppies while they wait for their foster and forever homes.
