Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our 7th annual PawCasso Charity Art Auction!  We had a fabulous time eating, drinking, and bidding to benefit homeless animals!  The event raised over $33,000 for Homeward Trails!

A huge thank you to all our attendees, auctions donors, sponsors, artists, our musical guests TBD, Side Street Catering and the amazing team of volunteers who made this event so successful!

Attention kids!  We want you to help raise money for the animals!

It super easy to help animals in need by raising money to pay for their medical expenses by holding a a lemonade stand or bake sale.  Every little bit of money helps!  You can do this in your own neighborhood or every weekend at our Adoption Center located in Fairfax Station, VA.   We would love to have groups come to the Adoption Center every Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4:00 PM during the spring and summer months.  We’ll provide the table and chairs, you supply the goodies to sell and some handmade advertising!

To get started just e-mail homershelpers@homewardtrails.org!

THANK YOU WONDERFUL HOMEWARD TRAILS SUPPORTERS!  On June 2, 2016, your support for our Do More 24 efforts yielded $13,000  in prize money in addition to the almost $19,000 in donations we raised for s total of just under $32,000 raised in just 24 hours. That is a lot of money to help our many homeless animals. We cannot thank you all enough for your ongoing support!

Each year at HT we rescue and place more animals, largely because our generous donors continue to We thank you. The animals thank you. We couldn’t do any of it without you!

Thank you for helping us do more for animals!

Thank you to our Do More 24 sponsors!

Kittens are cute, but also expensive, and we need your help to save and these babies get them ready for adoption. Litters of kittens will start arriving very soon!

Every kitten season is a mix of pleasure and sadness. We want to help everyone but the shelters quickly fill up with litter after litter. Many of the litters come to us very sick with malnourished moms, upper respiratory infections and parasites. One sick litter can deplete our resources quickly.

Even the healthy litters require blood tests for Feline Leukemia and FIV, a series of vaccines, deworming and flea treatments and huge amounts of food and litter.

You can help by making a tax deductible donation to our kitten fundraiser as we prepare to help the moms and kittens in their journey for a better life.

On February 2 Homeward Trails supporters packed Tartufo Restaurant in Tenleytown to help raise money for the animals!

Tartufo donated a generous 15% of the sales for the day netting a contribution of $610.  What a wonderful way to raise some much needed funds!

Many thanks to Tartufo for your generosity and delicious food and to all who helped make this event a huge success by dining and helping to spread the word!

Be sure to support this great restaurant and friend to HT!
