We are happy to announce a new partnership with Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program! Their missions is to provide prison inmates with the training and tools to rehabilitate dogs with behavioral issues who are at risk of homelessness or euthanasia. Dogs accepted in the program are immersed into 8-12 weeks of intensive positive-reinforcement training where they learn basic commands and how to be excellent canine citizens! Buddy is our first dog to enter the program and we cannot be more excited! He will be available for adoption after completion of this program so if you are looking for a very well mannered boy this summer please keep Buddy in mind!

Help Homeward Trails secure critical supplies to care for our animals.  Every dollar in in-kind donations of supplies we receive means that we can spend that dollar on vet care and other important things we can’t get donated.

Please consider donating and asking your family and friends to do the same  Check out our wishlist here.

Thank you!

We currently need foster homes for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens!  Fosters are one or our greatest resources because more foster homes=more animals we can save!

The Homeward Trails foster home program is a great way to help animals in need. By providing an animal a temporary home, the foster has given that animal another chance at life that he deseserves. Homeward Trails is always on the look out for people willing to open their hearts and their homes to animals in need.  Learn more today on ways you can help Homeward Trails care for animals in need.
