We currently need foster homes for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens!  Fosters are one or our greatest resources because more foster homes=more animals we can save!

The Homeward Trails foster home program is a great way to help animals in need. By providing an animal a temporary home, the foster has given that animal another chance at life that he deseserves. Homeward Trails is always on the look out for people willing to open their hearts and their homes to animals in need.  Learn more today on ways you can help Homeward Trails care for animals in need.

Are you a current Homeward Trails volunteer or just looking to get more involved? We are currently looking to train new Event Coordinators and would love for you to be one! Event Coordinators are crucial to our success and provide a source of outreach in our community by running dog adoption events at our partner stores, as well as special community events! You’ll be rewarded in more puppy snuggles than you can handle! If interested in becoming an Event Coordinator email

Spring and summer months bring so many fun community events. Stop by and see us at one of these upcoming events and meet some our our great adoptable dogs!

THANK YOU to every single person who donated during Spring2Action, our business partners who helped promote our participation, and everyone who spread the word and encouraged family and friends to donate. We are so grateful and we could not have done it without each and every one of you!

We raised almost $45,000 for our animals in one day. Hundreds of lives will be saved by your generosity.

Here’s a quick run down of prizes we won:

2nd Place Most Donors -$2,500
1st Place Free Agent Fundraiser – $5,000
8 AM Power Hour (Donors) – $500
8 AM Power Hour (Dollars) – $500
12 PM Power Hour (Donors) – $500
4 PM Power Hour (Donors) – $500
8 PM Power Hour (Donors) – $500

That’s $10,000 in prizes on top of the $33,633 we raised – truly amazing!

We will do it all again on June 2nd for our 2nd online fundraiser of the year, Do More 24…so please mark your calendars and put aside just $24 to donate on that day.

We could not do what we do without your amazing and ongoing support. The animals and humans of HT thank you!!

Thank you to our Spring2Action Partners!
