-KNOWN WITH CATS: Good. She was in a temp foster home with cats who she ignored.

-KNOWN CUES: Consistently sits and will usually come when called.

-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Crate trained.

-KNOWN LIKES: Playing with other dogs and snuggling her favorite people. Tennis balls and really all toys.

-KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud sounds and sudden movements, she is slightly timid even with those she loves when there is a lot of movement around her.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Persephone is a sweet and friendly dog. She’s a bit shy in new surroundings, and she is still learning how to be confident on leash walks. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for this gal! She is a perfect medium sized dog.

Notes from the foster: We cannot say enough about what a great dog Persephone is, her future adopters will be lucky to have such a wonderful girl! She is one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever met. She is affectionate and loves to be close to her people, and she has never met a dog she doesn’t like. She has a funny and happy personality and can often be seen jumping over her foster brother if he is in the way! She gets very timid if approached quickly and needs patience to let her acclimate to her surroundings, but after she is comfortable she is a perfect dog. Her pictures do not do her justice, she is super adorable and we think she looks a bit like a red panda!
