Notes from Val's Current Foster:

Val is the total package: smart, sweet, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day with her happy personality. This beautiful pup has settled seamlessly into foster life and currently lives with four other dogs, enjoying everything from playful zoomies around the yard to spirited games of tug with both her canine and human friends.

Val is a clever girl who already knows several commands, including sit, wait, watch, and cross. She is eager to learn, highly food-motivated, and always takes treats gently. She has excellent house manners, is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. While she'll happily spend the night in her crate, her favorite place to sleep is curled up in a cozy dog bed near her people and dog siblings.

One of Val's best qualities is her easygoing nature. She shows no guarding behaviors around food or toys and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She enjoys meeting new people and dogs at adoption events and generally greets the world with a friendly, happy attitude. She is still working on remembering that four paws belong on the floor when visitors come to the house, but her enthusiasm for making new friends is hard not to love.

Val also takes life's everyday sights and sounds in stride. Vacuums, household appliances, garbage trucks, lawn mowers, yard crews, noisy cars, and other neighborhood commotion barely earn a second glance from her.

If you enjoy spending time outdoors, Val may be your perfect match. She loves walks and believes the longer, the better. She mostly walks on a loose leash through the neighborhood and is always ready for her next adventure with her favorite person by her side.

With her affectionate personality, intelligence, great manners, and joyful spirit, Val is ready to bring love, laughter, and companionship to the lucky family that welcomes her home.
