KNOWN WITH CATS: Missy's previous home had cats and her owners reported that she is cat friendly

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Missy is being fostered with 4 children, ages 5-13. She absolutely ADORES kids but can jump when excited.

KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Missy is housebroken and has not had accidents in her foster home. She has not been crated since she has been pregnant and raising babies while in our care, but she has done well the few times she was crated for car trips.

KNOWN LIKES: Missy loves being in the company of her people. She loves toys, especially stuffed toys as she isn't much of a chewer. She also loves treats (who doesn't) and getting tons of pets and snuggles!

KNOWN DISLIKES: she barks when first meeting new people but warms up very quickly

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Missy's family was unable to care for her when she became pregnant, so they made the difficult decision to rehome her. She came to her foster home two weeks prior to giving birth and has been a VERY easy house guest. She is house trained and follows basic commands. She LOVES her foster family, especially the 13 year old boy. She has been a WONDERFUL mama to her babies making her foster mom's job so so much easier! She takes incredible care of them and now that they are getting a bit older she's teaching them how to play and how to do dog stuff. She is not typically loud in our suburban home but will bark along with the other dogs if they get going. She loves running around the yard and seeks out the affection of her people. She really is a gem!
