ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 50lbs

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Darla LOVES to play with dogs in the dog park!! Bigger dogs with big personality sometimes makes her nervous, but she will just hang by her person when thats the case. Otherwise she has some great polite play!!

KNOWN WITH CATS: Not sure!!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Darla is VERY sweet and would be fine around kids visiting! She is a little nervous, so may not be a good candidate for younger kids as lots of activity and noise scares her!!

KNOWN COMMANDS: She knows her name, and knows to go in the crate. She's VERY smart and will learn a lot!

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Working on potty training, and starting to get the hang of it. She's fine in the crate overnight, but gets VERY nervous when left all on her own.

KNOWN LIKES: Playing with her dog pals and her humans, getting pets. Does well exploring on a leash during walks.

KNOWN DISLIKES: Being alone. She'd love a home where people are around often and perhaps a canine friend to keep her company!!!

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Darla is a sweetheart who needs a little extra TLC after a rough start. She LOVES to be around people, but is a bit more cautious then most dogs her age. Friendly but reserved, she is doing great in DC and loves going to the dog park and sniffing around.

Due to her anxiety we are keeping her on a medication which seems to REALLY be helping her!!! You would have continued support from our team with Darla.

She loves to play with toys, and would love someone who likes to hike and be active!!!
