Notes from the foster:
Meet Daisy!
Daisy is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul who’s still learning what it means to feel safe and loved. She’s very submissive and quiet—she rarely cries, though she will whimper a bit when separated from her person because she bonds deeply. Daisy’s favorite things right now are simple: treats, soft places to curl up, and gentle snuggles. She loves being near people she trusts and will melt right into you once she feels secure.
Daisy is wonderful with children and shows no signs of aggression at all. She happily lets my kids pet her and seems to enjoy their company. She hasn’t been tested yet with other dogs or cats, but based on her gentle, shy nature, she’ll likely do well with proper introductions.
She’s still very much a puppy—curious and mouthy—so she’s currently chewing on anything left within reach. She’s not yet housebroken or crate trained and doesn’t know any cues yet, but she’s eager to learn. Right now, Daisy is too nervous to walk on a leash and prefers to hide outside, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can slowly help her build confidence and socialize.
Despite her fears, there’s a bright spark of affection and trust in her eyes. With consistency, love, and time, Daisy will blossom into the loyal, loving companion she’s meant to be. She’s a shy girl with a heart full of potential—someone special just needs to show her the world isn’t so scary after all.
