Meet Gravy 🐾
A remarkable survivor with a heart as big as his smile
Gravy’s story started in the hardest way — he was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car back in September, with both back legs broken. Thanks to an incredible community that rallied together and raised funds for his orthopedic surgery, Gravy was given a second chance at life — and he has absolutely taken it and run with it.
Today, Gravy is doing amazing. His surgery was a success, and he’s now running, playing, and enjoying life just like any happy, healthy dog should. And when he’s not playing, you’ll often find him happily lounging in the grass, soaking up the sunshine — one of his favorite things. He’s a pretty chill guy who truly knows how to relax.
Gravy has been through even more recently — he broke his front leg in early March, and as of April 13th, he is almost fully healed and getting back to his happy, active self. He will begin heartworm treatment in May, which the rescue will cover, and he can absolutely go to his forever home while going through the process.
But more than anything, Gravy just loves being with his people. He’s a total cuddle bug who enjoys curling up on the couch, leaning in for pets, and soaking up all the affection he can get.
Gravy is also incredibly easygoing and seems to get along with everyone he meets — people, dogs, kids, and even cats.
Gravy is:
• 💛 Sweet, friendly, and affectionate
• 🐶 Great with other dogs
• 👶 Good with kids
• 🐱 Cat-friendly
• 🏡 Housetrained and well-mannered
• 😌 Laid-back and easygoing
Gravy has been through a lot, but you would never know it by the love he gives. He is ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be someone’s constant companion.
He has so much love to give — don’t pass him by. ❤️
