Meet Tilly!

This precious little lady is ready for a home to call her own! Tilly was very scared when she first arrived, unsure and overwhelmed by the chaos of a shelter. Since then she's shown us that she loves affection and gentle pets and will seek out her favorite people for comfort and love.

Tilly will win you over with the sweetest puppy dog eyes and melt your heart. She is really laid-back and sweet and enjoys naps in the sun. She is very food motivated and loves treats! Tilly can be nervous at first but, once she trusts you, her personality shines right through.

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 22 lbs

ESTIMATED AGE: 5 years

KNOWN WITH DOGS: good with other dogs.

Tilly has lots of dog friends at Homeward Trails and, while she doesn't always love high energy pups at first, she has started showing her playful side and running and playing with her friends. She's also happy to just coexist with more laid back dog friends.

KNOWN WITH CATS: Tilly has done well with cats she has met at the HT Farm and happily curled up with her new cat friend during her introduction.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: She appears to be housebroken and doesn't have accidents in her kennel even when left overnight at the Trails Home Farm.

KNOWN LIKES: Affection once she warms up, Treats

KNOWN DISLIKES: loud noises and sudden movements

BACKGROUND:

Tilly is coming to HT from a rural VA shelter partner. She was surrendered because her elderly owner could no longer care for her.
