-KNOWN WITH CATS: Chance has met cats and the Farm and we think he will need someone who is familiar with dog and cat intros. He was very excited and will need to learn how to greet them properly.

-KNOWN WITH KIDS: Chance has met kids and loved them- we would suggest older kids- over 10

-KNOWN CUES: Chance is super smart and knows sit, down, crawl, wait, recall, stay + come and is working on paw/shake

-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Chance does well in his kennel at the Trails Home Farm

-KNOWN LIKES: Playing, Training, Walks, People, Dogs

-KNOWN DISLIKES: None

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Chance is the total package—goofy, affectionate, playful, and full of love. He instantly charms everyone he meets, both humans and dogs alike. Whether he’s making new friends at on walks or soaking up attention from his favorite people, Chance lives every day with joy and enthusiasm.

Don’t let his silly energy fool you—this boy has a soft side too. Chance absolutely loves cuddling and is convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, expect him to stretch across your legs, lean against your feet, or curl right into your lap for snuggles. After playtime, there’s nothing he loves more than relaxing close to his people.

Chance enjoys toys of all kinds, especially balls, Kongs, rawhides, and anything he can happily chew on. He’s house trained, sleeps nicely in his kennel at night, and is already learning his manners. He knows commands like “sit,” “lay down,” “leave it,” and sometimes even “stay.” While he can pull a little on leash, he’s smart and eager to learn, improving more every day.

Chance may bark if he hears noises outside, but he settles quickly and looks to his people for reassurance. With his lovable personality, adorable looks, and endless affection, Chance is ready to bring laughter, companionship, and unconditional love to a forever home. All he needs now is a family to give him the happy ending he deserves.
