ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Cali is a sweet 6-8 year old love bug packed into a 29 lb body! She is a sweet and friendly, affectionate girl who loves being around people, including little children. Her foster mom describes her as "super chill and very friendly!" She has also been doing a great job with house training. She is excellent at playing fetch!
She's the perfect companion for exploring, whether it be long walks or fun hikes! She loves exploring in the yard and does well around other dogs, and is doing a fantastic job since she arrived from rural southwest Virginia.
Luckily, because of the generosity of an amazing foster family, we were able to spring Cali from the rural southwest Va shelter she was stuck in. It was just in the nick of time, too, because the shelter is so crowded that sadly, they are having to euthanize dogs just because they have no space for them. 🙁
Sweet Cali does well with other dogs, and loves all people she meets. She even does well with cats!
Cali gets attached to her people quickly and is a very loyal pup. She will need a person or family committed to making sure she gets the exercise, training and attention that any dog needs. Could YOU be her forever person or family?? She certainly hopes so!!
