ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 30 lbs

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Pookie LOVES to play with other dogs. See attached pictures. He is submissive when it comes to playing with other dogs but will encourage them to continue to play, too. Pookie has not met a dog he does not like! He also takes queues from the resident dog at his foster home.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We have no info on cats yet. If you need it to consider him, please let us know.

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Pookie LOVES kids. He has some nipping puppy behaviors so maybe not a match for very young kids.

KNOWN COMMANDS: He responses to "no" very quickly and will cease any unwanted behaviors. He knows the word "treat" as well as "cookie."

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Good in the house but sometimes has accidents in the crate.

KNOWN LIKES: Cuddling with his people, walks, sniffing the grass, more cuddling, receiving treats, playing with other dogs, exploring new smells.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Pookie is a very smart pup. He has warmed up to every person that comes into their house -- and dogs. He loves loves loves all dogs.

He wants to be next to kids and has realized that kids are the biggest treat providers. He will follow children around and snuggle with them, if given the opportunity. Pookie loves all people! His foster is working redirecting some puppy nipping behavior.

He is super smart and has learned sit and no and is working on down and high five. Pookie is very treat motivated so will learn quickly. He is doing great walking on leash and meeting people.

His foster says Pookie is sweet, smart, and empathetic.
