Winner is a survivor with a heart of gold, hailing from a high-kill shelter in rural southwest Virginia, near the Tennessee border. Despite his challenging beginnings, Winner's resilient spirit shines through, especially in the mornings when his energy bursts forth.

In the company of his puppy pal, Winner is a playful dynamo, reveling in the joy of outdoor adventures and spirited romps around the yard. Later in the morning, he exhibits a surprising level of independence, often voluntarily retreating to his crate for some quiet time, finding solace and security within its confines.

While Winner may seem reserved and shy at first, he's making strides in building trust with his human companions. He shows his happiness through the wag of his tail and a warm welcome. Though he's initially hesitant about physical touch, he's learning to trust people through enjoying gentle pets.

Winner's journey to comfort and confidence continues, with small victories marking his progress each day. While he may prefer the safety of his crate for now, he's beginning to explore and enjoy more time with the family, showcasing his growing sense of security and trust.

With your patient guidance and nurturing care, Winner is sure to blossom into the loving and loyal companion he's destined to be. Whether chasing butterflies in the yard or cuddling up for quiet moments at home, Winner is ready to embark on his next chapter of love and adventure.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to Winner and be a part of his journey to happiness, please reach out to us by emailing sheilamcgee2001@yahoo.com today!
