KNOWN WITH DOGS: Zoey is good with other dogs.
KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!
KNOWN WITH KIDS: We don't know how Zoey is with children at this time.
KNOWN COMMANDS: No known commands.
KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Zoey settles nicely in her crate at the center but does need some help with housebreaking.
KNOWN LIKES: Affection, treats, toys, training and dogs.
KNOWN DISLIKES: Zoey does not seem to be used to stairs yet.
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Zoey, the sweet pup with a heart of gold! Zoey's journey began at one of our partner shelters, where she's eagerly awaiting her forever home. Since her spaying/neutering date on April 2, 2024, Zoey has been battling kennel cough, but her resilient spirit shines through. While her current health may affect her usual crate behavior, she typically settles in nicely. As a puppy, Zoey is still learning the ropes of housebreaking, so she'll benefit from patient guidance in this area. Despite her lack of known manners, Zoey is a quick learner who eagerly responds to affection, treats, and training. She adores the company of other dogs and enjoys playful interactions with them, showing her understanding of appropriate play breaks. Zoey's leash skills are promising, although she could use some confidence building, especially around stairs. While her feelings towards cats and children are uncertain, we're more than willing to conduct tests to ensure the perfect match.
