We have gleaned many awesome dogs from near and far, of all ages, sizes and breeds who need homes. And we need to make room in our fosters and at our Adoption Center to get ready for the busy summer season.

ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!
ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs
KNOWN WITH DOGS: Tucker has done well with the dogs at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center.
KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!
KNOWN WITH KIDS: We don't know how Tucker is with kids, he is shy at first and young kids will need to go slow.
KNOWN COMMANDS: None currently known.
KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Tucker settles nicely in his crate at the center. Tucker will need help on housebreaking, as he is a 7-month-old puppy.
KNOWN LIKES: Affection, treats, toys, dogs, and training.
KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises and fast movements.
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Tucker, the charming young pup with a heart full of hope and a curious spirit. Tucker's journey began in one of our partner shelters, though the details of his past remain a mystery to us. Despite his uncertain beginnings, Tucker's enthusiasm for life is infectious, especially when it comes to his interactions with other dogs. While we're unsure about his compatibility with cats and children, we're more than willing to conduct a cat test and advise a slow approach with younger kids due to Tucker's initial shyness.
Tucker may start off shy, but he quickly warms up and eagerly engages in chase play with his canine companions. He understands the importance of taking breaks during playtime, showing his considerate nature even in the midst of excitement.
In the safety of his crate, Tucker is a picture of calmness, settling in with ease. However, as a 7-month-old puppy, he's still in the process of mastering housebreaking and will need patient guidance from his future family.
While Tucker doesn't have many known manners yet, he shows promise in his willingness to learn. He may feel a bit nervous passing through doorways initially, but once outside, he walks nicely on a loose leash, his curiosity piqued by the sights and smells of the world around him.
Tucker's heart melts at the slightest display of affection, and he's always eager for a tasty treat or a playful session with his favorite toys. His love for dogs and training sessions knows no bounds. However, loud noises and sudden movements can startle him, so a calm and patient environment would be ideal for this gentle soul.
