We have gleaned many awesome dogs from near and far, of all ages, sizes and breeds who need homes. And we need to make room in our fosters and at our Adoption Center to get ready for the busy summer season.

Help us move dogs into loving homes!!!!

Never before have we discounted ALL dog & puppy fees so this is the time to get your new best friend!

EVERY DOG has a FREE/DISCOUNTED adoption fee this weekend.

ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 25 lbs

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Delta does well with the dogs at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Unknown at this time, but Delta is pretty shy with new people so she may do her best with a family with clam children.

KNOWN COMMANDS: No known commands!

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Delta settles nicely in her crate, as she sees it as a safe space

KNOWN LIKES: Affection, treats and training.

KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises and fast movements.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Delta, a gentle soul with a heart full of love, ready to find her forever home! Like her sister Hazel, Delta's backstory is a bit of a mystery, but her sweet demeanor speaks volumes about her loving nature. Delta arrived from one of our partner shelters with a clean bill of health and a shy disposition, but she's eager to find a family who will help her come out of her shell.

While we don't have specific information about Delta's interactions with cats and children, her gentle nature suggests she could thrive in the right environment with patient and understanding companions. Like her sister, Delta is a bit timid meeting new people but quickly warms up with time and patience, forming deep bonds with those she trusts.

In the company of other dogs, Delta prefers to coexist peacefully rather than engage in rough play. Her recent spaying may contribute to her lack of interest in play, but she's comfortable with the presence of other dogs and finds solace in their company. Delta sees her crate as a safe space where she can relax and unwind, settling in nicely whenever she needs a moment of peace.

While Delta may not have mastered any commands yet, she's eager to learn and thrives on affection, treats, and positive reinforcement. Like her sister, she can be a bit nervous on walks and will benefit from confidence-building exercises to help her feel more at ease.
