Joyce is a sweet and affectionate young short haired tabby. She'll greet you at the door when you get home from work and lay next to you on the couch to be pet. She'll gently nudge your hands, and will rub against your legs when you're getting ready for work. She also likes to be next to you on the bed and will even occasionally lay on your chest at night - but she is good about giving you your space when you want to sleep. She does not wake you up in the morning for food.

She's a social girl who likes visitors and introduce herself for pets. She loves to be pet on her head, chin, and neck and let you know she doesn't like it if you try to pet her too much on her back, sides, or stomach. She has lived briefly with another cat and adjusted well. She will be happy to live with older children.

Joyce originally came to Homeward Trails with her 5 kittens who all found homes. Joyce found a home too but is now losing her home as her adopter is moving and won't be taking her with him. So once again Joyce is looking for a home of her own where she will be loved.

Glorificus (photo: laying on the blue blanket) and Halfrek (photo: sitting on the chair) are a pair of bonded sisters. Glorificus or “Glory” as she’s sometimes called is the Holiest of Holy. She’s really perfect. She came in with her sister Halfrek when they were just tiny kittens and adopted together. They were returned because they were “too bonded.” They love other cats and making new friends, but still run around and cause mischief together (don't worry, the good kind of mischief). Glory is more of the observer while Halfrek is more of the initiator.

Halfrek or “Hallie” is the best friend and sidekick. The one in the group that does most of the work while the protagonist gets all the glory. These two ladies are pretty young too. Can you believe they've been waiting in a shelter for the four months?! They’re tiny and cuddly and full of surprises.

We don't want to split this special bond up, so they must be adopted as a pair. You can meet them by making a reservation at Crumbs & Whiskers, a cat cafe in Georgetown, where they will be waiting to find their forever homes. Visit their website to make a reservation: www.crumbsandwhiskers.com

    Breed Estimate: DSH Calico Mix
    De-Clawed: No
Approximate age: About 7 months as of 9/17

The adoption fee for pair is $250, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES their spay surgeries. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered.
