Foster Update (12/5): "Copper is a very sweet-hearted little guy, but he is also a very nervous dog. He isn’t a fan of loud noises and sudden movements. It takes him longer to be comfortable with strangers, and he can be a little timid and shy away when it comes to being approached. Despite this, he does enjoy the company of those he knows and feels comfortable around, and he becomes extremely bonded to his people after time. He adores going on walks in quiet neighborhoods. He has lived with both dogs and cats before, and gotten along well with both. He is working on his confidence in his foster home and learning that life doesn’t have to be so scary. He would do best in a quiet adult only home with a second confident dog to show him the ropes. Copper’s forever family will need to give him the time and patience he needs to open up and trust again.."

Alice came to us from a rescue in Thailand. She is currently living in a foster home with a dog and a cat Alice is friendly when people approach and enjoys being petted. She is independent and self-contained. She does love attention and in her foster home, if the foster’s dog is getting attention she will swing her rear end around to knock the other dog out of the way (but they get along well). She is happy to sit in your lap or sit by your side. And Alice loves to look out windows!

Alice came with bad teeth which had to be removed but that does not get her down. You can see her tongue at the side of her mouth which gives her a cute, distinctive dash of pink on her face
    .
Alice is housetrained and walks well on a leash. Alice can be playful (check out her video), but because she is older she might prefer a quieter home without young children who want a more active dog.

Do you need a faithful companion to be part of your life? Alice is your girl!
