If you are looking for a sweet snuggle pup who will bring lots of happy energy to your home, Luna is your girl! She’ll greet you with a big husky smile and lots of hugs and kisses, and is happiest when she gets to curl up next to you—she might even plop right in your lap! It’s okay though, because she’s only a petite 40 pounds or so, which just intensifies her already over-the-top cuteness. Her signature move is to roll over on her back and look at you with her gorgeous golden eyes asking for belly rubs. There will be no “getting to know you period” with this outgoing girl — she will fall in love with you as soon as you bring her home (and you’ll fall in love with her just as quickly).

She’s not all lazy cuddles though; she’s a working breed after all, and is the BEST walking or running companion you could ask for. You don’t have to worry about lots of stopping and sniffing — set her in a direction and she will happily forge straight ahead as far as you’d like to go! She’s also great on car rides — she’ll jump in on command, curl up on the seat and finds the car so relaxing she often falls asleep.

She’s still working on her basic training and house manners, but she is just SO smart and eager to please. She has a curiosity that is typical of her breed, and her sweet face lights up whenever she learns a new command. She’s slightly treat motivated, but what she really wants is your praise. Give her pets and tell her she’s a good girl, and she’ll dance around like she can barely contain her excitement.

Luna would LOVE to be your only dog so she could have all of your attention, but she’d be just as happy with other dogs in the home to play with. True to her breed, she thinks little fluffy things that move are toys, so no kitties or other small furry friends please! She LOVES kids, but she would probably do best in a house without very small children due to her being completely oblivious to her size.

She has so much love to give. It’s like she’s made it her personal mission to prove why dogs are man’s best friend!!

Please research this breed — only those with husky experience, or who have demonstrated considerable understanding of this breed’s needs will be considered for adoption!
