Wags n’ Whiskers is a community-oriented event for animal-loving shoppers of all ages to spend an afternoon at The Village at Shirlington with their pet. The event will feature pet contests, demonstrations, exhibitions, pet portrait photos, children’s activities such as face painting, balloon art, live music, and more along with Village at Shirlington merchant specials and free giveaways.

Stop by the Homeward Trails Animal Rescue table and meet some of our adoptable dogs! Or learn how you can help homeless dogs or cats by donating, volunteering or fostering. Homeward Trails volunteers will be available to talk to you about our animals available for adoption and our adoption process. If you meet a dog who’s a good potential match, you can submit an adoption questionnaire!

Potential Adopters- More dogs will likely get signed up so check back as it gets closer to the event.
