“With this expansion of our program by opening up to the public every weekend for extended hours, we are hopeful that we can rescue and place a lot more dogs, more quickly,” says Sue Bell, HT Executive Director. “We will be considering same day adoptions if applicants bring the necessary paperwork and if we have a dog who is a good fit. We are SO excited to be saving more lives and look forward to welcoming the public to our great shelter.”The HT Adoption Center is a unique, cageless shelter opened in December 2013. The canine residents live in social play groups where they enjoy indoor and outdoor playtime hours at a time.Visitors will get the chance to see the dogs interacting with other dogs, romping in the yards and putting their best paws forward in hopes of securing their forever home.
