Join Homeward Trails Animal Rescue as we celebrate the LGBTA community and their furry friends.
Walk with Homeward Trails in the 40th Annual Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, June 13th at 4:00 pm, at 22nd & Q Streets, NW, Washington, DC. In honor of the parade’s 40th anniversary this year, the theme is “Flashback.” HT will be flashing back to the cinematic classic “The Wizard of Oz”—because there’s no place like Home(ward Trails)! Feel free to dress up as a Wizard of Oz character or with most inspired Oz-themed accessories and bring your two and four legged friends for a great time! We’ll have a trailer for the dogs to ride, some accessories for dogs and humans and great giveaways for the crowd!
One Sunday, June 14 from noon – 7 PM visit the Homeward Trails booth at the Capital Pride Festival. The Festival takes place on Pennsylvania Ave., NW, between 3rd and 7th Sts., NW, Washington, DC The Festival is DC’s largest annual one-day event with over 150,000 visitors, almost 300 sponsor & vendor exhibits, three stages, two beverage gardens, a family area, Taste AT Pride, Art in Pride and numerous food vendors offering a huge selection of various cuisines.
