On November 9th, HT participated in Give to the Max Day – a 24 hour competition where nonprofits in the DC area worked to secure the most number of donors and the most donations. With hundreds of nonprofits competing, many much larger and older than HT, we finished 2nd in the two major categories securing a total prize of $16,000! We cannot be more thrilled!
In addition to the $16,000 in prize money, HT supporters came out with gusto and donated a whopping $18,000+ bringing our total day’s earnings to more than $34,000 – all for our homeless animals.
We give a huge thank you to all of our many wonderful, loyal and generous supporters who helped make this day so successful. We could not do what we do without you. Many, many more animals will be rescued and given the chance at life they deserve thanks to you!
