On Tuesday, April 16, Homeward Trails became the humbled and honored recipient of a $1,200 gift from Legal Services Corporation (www.lsc.gov) in honor of Victor Fortuna, Esq. as he retired from the firm after many years of public service.
A lifelong dog lover (he had upwards of 5 at one time), Mr. Fortuna requested that funds go to a local rescue operation on his behalf. After much research, he chose Homeward Trails. The gift given on behalf of Mr. Fortuna will be used by HT to help our special needs dogs. We are grateful to him and so many others for their generosity – we could not help so many wonderful dogs out of bad situations and into loving, nurturing and caring homes.
